Claudias very specific way to refreshment having a break at the scaffolding of our solar home.

At the end of the day Andreas and Hannes mounted our flatscreen TV with a special clamp, which allows us to adjust the angle and position. So it´s possible to look TV as well from the bed as from the living space of our solar home in optimized conditions. And when the TV in not in use, it will be stored in front of the eastern wall.

Alex customized the substructure to install the sun blind louvers. Our two different shading technologies will be an eye-catcher in the Solar Decathlon competition. But it is as well a lot of work, to get these systems running. Especially the solar active louvers are a really complex construction, but after mounting, they will work without at really low maintenance at all.

Today Kai installed the faucet of the washbowl while Ramzia placed the lamps in the bathroom. We use a mixture of LED lights and halogen lights for artificial lighting of the bathroom as we want to serve the user with a high light quality.

Franziska, Martin, Sascha and Tabea prepared the intermediate pieces (acrylic glass) of our facade.

Most of us did not knew the german word – Rakel – for the necessary tool so here the english one: they are useing a squeegee blade.
