The last days we worked on the dry walling oven though it does not look dry at all. We leveled the revision openings as well as the wall cladding made of plaster boards.
The plasterboards are designed as latent storage by integrating phase change material (PCM) in their body. They will help to keep the building at the estimated temperature range in the Solar Decathlon competition. And they also absorb high humidity for an optimized indoor climate.

Franziska and Angela installed the self made kitchen cabinets. The colored medium density fiberboards (MDF) are a new development and the look really nice. Their grey color is an allusion to concrete, but it´s warm when the hand touches the material.

Claudia installed the sink today. Our washbasin will be very specific because it features no basin but a baffle plate made of glass. The rest of the planar basin will feature the parquet as surface all over.

Yesterday we placed the parquet in the sleeping area of our solar home. The stairs are not jet mounted but prepared for the parquet as well.
The sleeping area can be used as working area as well. Therefore one can see the cable conduits open for electrical installation at the walls. We will serve the working space with current, lighting and local area network (LAN).
Frauke made another 360° panorama animation of our house today.

Today we did a test run of the water installation inside of our Solar Decathlon home.
We used innovative piping for fresh water and sewage. Especially the noise reduced sewage piping will help us to reduce the noise level in the whole solar home.
Today we installed the Heroal profiles on the roof.

Today we built some more deck modules

Jasmin is placing the parquet on the gallery.

This evening we finished the first 4 modules of the deck.
