Thumbs up from Sina

Our window panes were finally delivered and built in in aur solar home today without any further complications. The triple glazing with build-in sun blinds will help us to reduce heating loads in winter and cooling loads in summer. And the large sliding door will open automatically.

Therefore thumbs up from Sina.

Pondering on the potty

Its late at night and Claudia installed the toilet today. Apparently it is quite stable and comfy. But there is still some work left in the bathroom like the hole in the wall above Claudia. Maybe she is wondering how to solve this problem. Or she is allready almost asleep.

Even though the weather is not sunny at all, Johanna, Sardika, Alex and Andreas finished the sun deck modules. We will use a prefabricated scaffolding system as underconstruction for the deck to be fast and precise in building and safe in use at the same time.

Simone and Angela built the wardrobe next to the ramp. We will be able to serve the user with lots of storage space in our Solar Decathlon building. And the wardrobe also allows integral mounting of building services like air supply all in one.

Today Sina, Kai and Frauke placed the parquet in the bath and at the ramp of our solar home. One can see the water drain of the shower allready in the reflecting light in front of the window.

It will be exciting to see how the public will react to our design as it is on the one hand the bathspace and on the other hand the circulation area towards the bedspace for handicapped.
